2016年至今工作生活於中國深圳。2008年考入平頂山職業技術學院,並在跨媒體藝術學院完成了本科和研究生的學習。在研究生期間前往烏茲別克斯坦國家藝術與設計學院進行訪問研究與學習。畢業後返回深圳南嶺山潛心創作至今。
Luo Xuanjiu has worked and lived in Shenzhen, China since 2016. In 2008, Luo entered Pingdingshan Industry Vocational Technology College and completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the School of Intermedia Art. Luo was also a visiting researcher to the National Academy of Art and Design of Uzbekistan. After graduation, Luo has returned to Nanlingshan in Shenzhen and delved into the world of artistic creation.

覺醒之屋
是對現實生活和虛擬夢境世界在空間中的一次表達。它如同藝術家當下的狀態一般:現實與虛擬不斷交織在一起,它們互相滲透,不斷影響著藝術家的現實生活以及意識形態。
VR裝置呈現藝術家現實的房間與夢境裡場景的共同體。在平凡的家具和室內的場景之中,出現超現實的異形體使人疑惑,如同進入玄幻的夢境。外面帷幕上投影的是藝術家成長過程中最得意或珍愛的小物件。透過3D掃描的方式投放進軟件製造的宇宙之中,隨著時間推移,形像出現異化,使得它們既熟悉又陌生。
The House of Wakefulness represents an attempt to express both the real life and the virtual dream world. It embodies the artist’s present state: a state of constantly interweaving reality and virtuality, which permeate each other and endlessly influence the artist’s real life and consciousness. The VR installation presents a combination of the artist’s room in reality and the scenes in dreams. Amidst ordinary furniture and indoor settings, the appearance of surreal alien objects seems baffling, immersing the audience in a dream-like world. The projection outside reveals the artist’s favorite or most cherished trinkets when he was growing up. Using 3D scanning technology, they are incorporated into the VR cosmos created by a software. Their appearances have evolved and become peculair as time goes on, rendering them somewhat familiar yet strange.
