Consciousness immersion
Aesthetics, golden ratio, color psychology and other Form theories – come from the aesthetic experience deep down inside mankind’s consciousness.
In this work, the Form theories derived from the human viewpoint are applied into the construction of the parameter data. Then the 3D modeling software is implemented to generate 3-dimensional graphics in the space through built-in AI calculation. Three elements - light, lines, and dynamics are further transformed into entities with the intention to create the perfect form in space; through the outcome of human aesthetics being translated through the AI system, how "human
consciousness" and "artificial consciousness" can define "perfect form".
YU Shih-Fu
Since 2011, the artist has continued to focus on the creation and application of mechanical manufacturing and processing techniques, with emphasis on the dynamics of the universe and the hidden meanings behind. He combines sentimental warmth with cold mechanical components, and further tempers industrial technologies into an art form with dynamic beauty, while intending to explore the aesthetic production in the era of digital manufacturing. His artworks have been selected for "Taipei Digital Art Award", "National Fine Arts Award", "Beijing Art Nova 100 Award", among other awards, and collected by Taiwan Art Bank (new media art) and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (permanent new media art collection). The artist participates in many large-scaled exhibitions including "National Art Exhibition R.O.C", "FORMOSA Art Fair ", "Taipei Digital Art Festival", "FORMOSA Sculpture Biennale", "Taiwan Art & Creative Expo", "Beijing Today Art Museum-Art Nova 100 Award Opening Exhibition", and "Taiwan Lantern Festival".
